 Diagnoses & More

The first step on the road to recovery is a diagnosis. In Ontario, only GPs, psychiatrists, and psychologists can provide an official diagnosis. While nurses, social workers, and psychotherapists play key roles in the treatment of mental health conditions, they are not permitted to diagnose them.

Here's information some common diagnoses — and other topics — that many members have found helpful:

ANXIETY DISORDERS

BIPOLAR DISORDER

BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER

CONCURRENT DISORDERS

DEPRESSION

OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER
